The requirement for Oregon educator candidates to take and pass the ORELA Protecting Student and Civil Rights in the Educational Environment assessment has been revised. Some educator preparation providers (EPPs) meet this requirement through coursework, and others will require passage of the assessment. Check with your EPP to determine your institution's requirement.
